“In this sacred space we honor every person's search for the truth,
and support individual expression of alternative points
of view consistent with our Principles.
To protect and promote human dignity and provide a safe haven
for all who enter this space, we covenant to
demonstrate respect for both ourselves and others.”
We are a fun, friendly, and accepting community that values knowledge and trusts in its principles. Our fellowship starts with coffee, tea, and treats at 10:30 AM EST. Service begins at 11 AM EST. If it's your first time here, we've got answers for any questions you may have.

At UUC of CC, we strive to create an inclusive environment where all individuals are able to fully participate in our services and events. Recognizing the importance of accessibility for everyone, we have taken steps to ensure that our facilities are equipped with a ramp, and ample off-street parking.
We started with just four people in a library in Lenoir, but soon more folks joined us to form the Unitarian Universalist of Caldwell County. Our mission is why we came together – to create a place where all kinds of people can feel accepted and express themselves. We also want to make sure we work for world peace, justice, and a clean environment.
Our very own Tana Murray and her siblings presented us with an amazing opportunity that was too good to pass up - their family home was on the market! We were blessed with the help of John Elian and other building experts who renovated our new space and got it ready for use as a Church. Finally in October 2010 we proudly opened our doors and began using it as our Church.
For 17 years, the volunteers of our congregation have done a lot to keep us running. They've worked on the building and grounds, decorated, provided furniture, been leaders in committees, and planned meaningful services. Our faith community is constantly evolving to meet the spiritual needs of our members, so we must be open to changing the way we do things. Thank you for your support that allows us to keep growing!
